UNITEDHEALTHCARE is a clothing store run by UNITEDHEALTHCARE INSURANCE COMPANY, registered at 185 Asylum Street, Hartford, Connecticut. We call it the cabinet of curiosities: every order is checked, folded in tissue and tagged with your name before it leaves the shelf.
What we sell
Shirts, knits, tops, bottoms, jackets and accessories, each carrying one engraving from the cabinet — a gold moth on a pocket, an engraved moon across the chest, a botanical stem climbing a jacket. The range is deliberately short — six drawers, each one there for a job: a shirt for the day, a knit for the evening, a tee to layer under, trousers to wear with all of them, a jacket for the walk, and a drawer of totes, a scarf and a cap that carry the cabinet out of the house.
How we choose
We pick pieces to be worn often and kept for years, so we look at the parts that go first: seams that sit flat, buttons that stay put, embroidery that holds its stitch after a season of washing, and cloth that keeps its shape. We would rather sell one shirt that is still on the hook in five years than three that are not.
The six drawers
- Shirts — camp shirts and overshirts in cotton poplin and brushed twill, with a single engraving worked into a pocket or a placket
- Knits — cardigans, crews and a hoodie with gold-thread moths and moons on heavy knit, cut relaxed through the body
- Tops — boxy tees and long sleeves in heavyweight jersey, printed like plates from an old engraving book
- Bottoms — trousers, work pants and a wide pant with one quiet mark at the pocket or hip
- Jackets — chore, field and work jackets in cotton twill and canvas, embroidered where a naturalist would pin a specimen
- Accessories — canvas totes, a wool-blend scarf and a felt cap, in one size
Materials and care
Most of our shirts, tops, jackets and work pants are cotton — poplin, twill, jersey and canvas — with gold-thread embroidery or a water-based print; our knits and scarf are wool-blend yarns chosen for warmth and shape. Each product page lists the material and care instructions for that piece. As a rule, cotton pieces are machine washed cold inside out and line dried, and knits are washed by hand in cold water, reshaped and dried flat — never tumble dried. Do not iron directly on the embroidery or print.
Sizing, fit and returns
Sizes run differently between styles, so check the size guide on each product page — it gives flat garment measurements you can compare with a piece you already own.
If something arrives and is not right, return it unworn and in its original condition with tags attached within 30 days of delivery and we will refund it; to change size, place a new order for the piece you want. Write to us first so we can confirm the return details for your order. Faulty items are handled separately — send photos and a short note and we will sort it out with you directly. Full details are in our Return Policy.
Contact us
Questions about fit, cloth or an order in progress are best sent to us directly. We would rather answer a sizing question before you buy than process a return afterwards.
